Chatting FIRE update – September 2020

Thank you to everyone who has been contributing and reading Chatting FIRE. 

It’s truly appreciated.

I know that people interested in FIRE generally love looking at the numbers and seeing how thing grows.

So, I thought I’d try something different.

I’ve decided to build Chatting FIRE in the open.

Each month I’m going to share the numbers behind the Australian FIRE forum – ChattingFire.com.

September 2020

Chatting FIRE officially launched on the 14th of September 2020…So month one is more like half a month.

Forum Statistics 

The response to the launch of Chatting FIRE was generally good.

Chatting FIRE had 25 new members join the forum and 31 topics were created.

Total members – 25

Total topics – 31

Website Statistics 

In September 2020 Chatting FIRE had 903 users visit the site and 1983 pageviews.

This includes visitors who viewed the forum’s and blog.


The Chatting FIRE newsletter had 146 new subscribers over September 2020.

This brought the total newsletter subscribers to 463 (There were previous subscribers to the newsletter).

Once again I would like to thank everyone who has joined the forums, read our content or subscribed to the newsletter. 

We’re trying to build something special for the Australian FIRE community.

In future updates, I plan to go more in-depth behind the scenes of Chatting FIRE. If there’s anything you would like to see, please let me know in the comments below.
