KeymasterAmazon Prime
Step 1 – Sign up for an Amazon Prime free trial. Pretty simple, just head over to Amazonand you will see some sort of banner encouraging you to try Prime. I made my first purchase on Amazon and was able to add the free trial at checkout. If you’ve never heard of Prime, it’s Amazon’s network of entertainment that also gives you free priority delivery on your purchases.
Step 2 – Now that your membership is activated, you will be able to access the contents on the following sites for 30 days:
primevideo.com – Movies and TV
music.amazon.com.au – Ad-free music streaming
twitch.amazon.com/ – Gaming
amazon.com.au – Kindle books
It’s pretty simple so far – join Amazon Prime and get free access for 30 days. The real benefit comes by matching Prime with the audiobook giant Audible.Audible
Step 3 – Head over to audible.com.au and start a free trial. Make sure you use the same credentials as your Amazon Prime membership. When you start your free trial, you’ll get access to one free Audiobook. Audible is part of Amazon and as a little bonus, Amazon Prime members can a second bonus audiobook, for free (Generally costs over $30 to buy two audiobooks). Once your free trial is over you also get to keep the books!Step 4 – Use and reuse, all the streaming services offer unlimited access to Prime, so you don’t have to worry about that. If you’re like me, and you get into the audiobooks, there’s another handy trick. Once your done listening, or if you make a bad selection… Head over to your purchase history in Audible, select your book and hit ‘return’. Yep that simple, once you’re done, just return the book, your credits will reappear and you can select another audiobook.
Step 5 – If you don’t intend on paying for Prime/Audible – a simple trick is to set a reminder in your phone a day or two before your trial will expire. You can simply log into Prime/Auidable and cancel your service with nothing to pay.
